On August 4,2020,the 100th birthday of Prof. Pan Maoyuan, a famous contemporary educator, pioneer of higher education and national model of teaching and educating people, Xiamen University especially held the 85th Anniversary celebration for Prof.Pan Maoyuan’s teaching career at the Center for Science and Art, appraising his important contribution to the nation and school. As one of Xiamen University's centennial celebration activities, the celebration has been highly valued by the Ministry of Education, provincial and municipal leaders at all levels. More than 400 people from the Ministry of Education, NLD Central Committee, Fujian Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, Xiamen Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, Chinese Institute of Education, Chinese Institute of higher Education, Chinese Institute of Vocational and Technical Education and many well-known experts and scholars in higher education and relevant leaders,teachers and students of Xiamen University gathered together to wish Prof. Pan Maoyuan an evergreen academic tree.
